The Winter Residents Club purpose is to create a place and environment where winter residents of all ages can feel free to come and enjoy the hospitality, recreation, entertainment, and social activities provided for their benefit.
Membership is available by paying a $15.00 yearly fee, which gives a member access to all activities and draws, excluding paid venues (dances & shows). Some activities may have a nominal charge for materials. Non-members admission is $3.00 at the door to qualify for any of the door prizes.
Regular meetings are held every Tuesday night at 7:00pm, consisting of the following:
A short business meeting
A showcase of various entertainment, often ethnic and musical in nature
Bingo, ice cream and cookie social
Drawing of 2 birthday cakes and various door prizes donated by local merchants

All meetings and events are held at the Ringgold Civic Pavilion, located at the Dean Porter Park, across from the Gladys Porter Zoo. This centre is made available to The Winter Residents Club by the Brownsville Parks and Recreation Department.
The staff of the Ringgold Civic Pavilion is dedicated and professional. They provide any assistance when requested. The Club membership draws people from the majority of the states in USA, and from coast to coast in Canada.
